Application of Permaflex waterproofing coating to prevent water leakage in the basement.

This customer has a basement that was leaking and had pooling water, when it rained, that would stay for days at a time. Their basement seemed to almost always have standing water in several different spots. They needed to get a resolution to prevent the water from continuing to come into their basement, and keep it dry.

Olympic Restoration Systems was contacted for an assessment of their basement. We visited the property and proposed a quote to the customer. They proceeded with basement waterproofing for their home.

Installed WaterGuard sub-floor system. Installed WaterGuard Port for access to system. Installed SuperSump pump system with cast iron pump, liner, airtight lid with airtight floor drain, CleanPump Stand, and WaterWatch alarm system. Installed UltraSump battery back-up pumping system with charging/control box with alarm and 120 amp sealed maintenance-free battery. Properly prepared floors and then sealed them using three step process which includes PermaFlex and LRB applications. Sealed gap between the exterior wall and the newly constructed wall. including the edge of the base-plate to create a water block in
the event water enters the area in the future.

This department store recieved tremendous water damage from the winter storms in February 2021. We sent our first available team to the site with air movers and air scrubbers to immediatley start the drying process to prevent mold from growing. We also removed the lower portion of drywall and the carpet due to the extensive water damage. This job was completed in Rockwall, TX by Olympic Restoration Systems.
