This homeowner in Warrenton contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they had some concerns about their foundation. There were several stair-step cracks on the outside walls of the house.
Fortress solved this problem by installing our Push Piers. Push Piers feature a patent-pending external sleeve that strengthens the pier at the critical tension point below the bracket. They are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.
He's had an engineer come out who recommended us. All brick ranch home has broken/sinking footing. Interested in push piers.
They had gaps in the walls and windows that would not operate.
We went out and were able to lift the house 2.5 inches which closed the gaps in the walls and now they are able to open and close
windows that weren't functional.
The homeonwers were very excited that they had us come out and do this work for them.
A homeowner near Boonsboro, MD, grew concerned when stair-step cracking in her basement wall developed into a long horizontal crack with bulging. She called Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free estimate. Our System Designer completed a thorough inspection offering a permanent solution with warranty. After her questions were answered, she chose to repair her foundation with GeoLock Wall Anchors. Toby Bryant and his experienced team soon arrived at her home. The GeoLock Wall Anchor rods were driven from a trench on the outside to inside the basement and secured to the wall with plates. Take a look at the wall plates now stabilizing the wall, locking it up tight! No more bowing or cracking.

In the photo from Locust Grove, Va., the initial image shows a classic issue—bowing basement walls as a result of foundation settlement, a concern that destabilizes structures and can evolve into major problems if not addressed. Notice in the after photo how Fortress Foundation Solutions expertly installed CarbonArmor straps. These carbon fiber-reinforced polymers contour to support and stabilize the once-compromised wall. By choosing our innovative solution, the wall is now reinforced but not rigidly invasive like steel counterparts. Rest assured, this foundation won't bow or lean anymore.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
