In Ridgeway, a homeowner faced persistent crawl space moisture and its associated problems, evidenced by mold growth and musty odors in the 'before' photo. They turned to Fortress Foundation Solutions for a reliable solution. As the 'after' photo illustrates, we meticulously installed our advanced CleanSpace® vapor barrier to transform the damp, unhealthy environment into a dry, protected crawl space. Our CleanSpace® encapsulation system not only elevates the quality of air emerging from below but also safeguards the home's foundation from future moisture-related damage, ensuring a healthier home environment.

The owner of this home called us with concern due to the water seeping into her crawlspace. Not only was the crawlspace damp, but it was also extremely dirty. Cobwebs were climbing the walls along with the insulation falling from the ceiling. We were able to address all of the issues this homeowner was concerned with. Fortress Foundation Solutions first cleaned up this crawlspace by encapsulating it with CleanSpace dry matting. Although CleanSpace is usually installed from floor to ceiling, this homeowner asked that we only do the floor and the columns. Instead of CleanSpace on the walls, we installed Foamax. This was the homeowner’s personal preference. Foamax is a two inch thick insulation foil that is used to increases energy efficiency even more than CleanSpace. Rim Band Foam was also installed to seal off all air infiltration from the outside environment. To address the unwanted water, Fortress installed a Sanidry Condensate Pump and Lawnscape. Both help move the water out and away from the crawlspace and the home. Fortress left this crawlspace clean, dry, and extremely energy efficient.

A homeowner in Monterey, Virginia had heavy mold growth and standing water in their crawl space. They called us here at Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve their problem. We got rid of all the mold with Mold X, and then installed a Smart Sump pump to to rid the crawl space of any water that would come in. We also put in a Sani Dry Sedona to control the humidity levels. 

This customer had water, mold and mildew, and falling insulation in their crawlspace. Fortress Foundation Solutions removed the ineffective insulation and mitigated the mold/mildew. We also installed CleanSpace liner with drainage matting, TripleSafe sump pump, Sedona SaniDry dehumidifier, and a new crawl space door. This transformation in crawlspace prevents humidity and musty smells in the home!
