This home was a special project for our Fortress Foundation Solutions team.  The family residing in the home had a special need to be free of invasive water because of health concerns.  Our system designer went to this property to give the family recommendations.  He knew how important it was to the family to make sure there was no unwanted moisture coming into the home.  Our Fortress Foundation Solutions foreman Charlie Evans and his team started the project by re-grading the crawlspace, which will also help with water not pooling. As you can see the space, while uncluttered, was very dingy. After re-grading, the crew completed the encapsulation with the drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier to leave the space clean and dry. The family residing here will be living in a healthier environment.  The Fortress Foundation Solutions team was fortunate to be able to help this family.

This crawl space in South Boston, Virginia had puddles of water forming from water intrusion. The area also had some mold growth. Fortress fully encapsulated this crawl space with our Clean Space vapor barrier and installed a Sani Dry Sedona to control the humidity levels and keep it dry. 

This Appomattox, VA home had an issue with drafty floors and rodents entering the structure and needed a solution to prevent further damage.

Our Systems Design Specialst, Jamey Elder quickly cam to evaluate the situation. He concluded that the crawl space would need a CleanSpace Liner and Foam insulation along the rim joist. With a plan in place, Cole Mauck and his production team came to the home to start the project. 

CleanSpace Liner was placed in the crawl space and mechanically fastened to the walls and applied foam to the outer band of the space. 

This dirty crawlspace in Appomattox, VA needed some help! It was moldy and had water stains from repeated flooding. Fortress solved these issues by installing a CleanSpace Encapsulation, a SmartSump System, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to ensure the crawlspace would stay clean and dry.

The homeowners of this 100 year old home in Appomattox, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns of the crawl space under this home. This area was cold and moldy. Our system designer was able to come out and meet with the homeowners to determine a permanent solution. After a  close look, the System Designer could see this area was in need of an encapsulation. Our system designer recommended our Silver Glo wall insulation to keep this are from getting cold. Our System Designer also knew the mold needed to be taken care of as well, so our company was able to remediate the mold as well. Our Foreman and his crew began this project by leveling the crawlspace. Next the installed the Silver Glo to the wall, finally they installed out Clean Space Vapor Barrier. Our crew also installed a Sani Dry Dehumidifier to control the humidity levels in the home.
