Riley Ethier came to diagnose leak at the basement foundation. He did it very thoroughly, looked everywhere inside and out, found the source of leak was plumbing issue. He did awesome job . Very highly recommend to anyone who needs the excellent job to be done.

  Riley from Fortress Foundation Solutions came by a couple days ago to look at what I thought was a foundation issue. "I work with a medium sized real estate team that's been operating in the northern virginia area for over 30+ years. We consistently run into time-line issues and having our trusted network of contractors constantly learning about the process of a real estate transaction. Information I am sure they could live without. We had a total of 5 different contractors come out to Duke Drive in Alexandria, a listing we were under contract for. The job required sistering two floor joices in a tiny crawl space. All four of them declined to do the work. We figured the degree of difficulty didn't warrant them coming to sister two boards. Santiago came out the same day for an estimate, gave me a completion date and the work ended up being finished before the settlement date had to be pushed back a second time. Jon was also very responsive and quick to help me with the letter head required by the underwriters stating the job had been finished. All in all, starting a "real estate team" is such a great idea. Santiago knew the real estate process, I didn't have to explain it to him. He got the job done before a very short deadline and the entire process has been refreshing to say the least. I wish every type of large contractor would have a real estate team as you do. Keep up the good work!

The man who assessed was very knowledgeable. He pointed out other issue with homes foundation as well and explained why it happened and what it will eventually lead to. The men who showed up were on time, polite and respectful. They worked diligently in the cold weather and they also explained to me each step and why. We were very pleased. This was a small patio that was sinking because animals had repeatedly dug under it over many years. The patio was about to fall and separate from the house. Thank you!

Fortress Foundation Solutions demonstrated exceptional knowledge, integrity, and value throughout my experience with them. They will not try to sell you something unless you truly need it, which is refreshing.I originally contacted FFS (along with two other foundation companies) after noticing what appeared to be a bow on the interior side of a foundation wall. I was concerned it might worsen over time. The other two companies provided quotes to “fix” the issue, but FFS (specifically Matt Miller) properly determined that the appearance was caused by the original concrete form bowing during the pour. He explained that it was not a structural concern and actually recommended that I not use their services, as it was a non-issue.Matt took the time to explain the reasoning behind his conclusion. I later confirmed his assessment by digging three feet down on the exterior side of the wall and verifying that it was not bowed at all. This experience demonstrated not only FFS’s superior knowledge, but also their integrity. They were willing to turn away work rather than recommend an unnecessary repair.To show my appreciation, I decided to redirect the funds I had originally set aside for foundation repair toward crawlspace encapsulation (something I had planned to do later but was able to move up on my to-do list). Sam, Nick, Tone, and Brian made the entire process seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Firstly, Chris made a visit to gauge the scope of work and the materials required. His is very professional and we kept in touch prior to the repair crew arriving a few weeks later.Tim and his crew arrived earlier than expected and went right to work. Their methods were far superior to another company that was out here a few years back who did a slap and dab with their caulking product. Pad lifting was fair but not good. Chris had emphasize the need to lift the pads to the weep holes in the retaining wall that is 52' long.Tim kept me apprise of their progress and the final result looks great. The clean-up was excellent and nothing was left behind but the great work. Five stars for certain and a highly recommended company for a wet basement (MIL) and our driveway and large parking area.

Joe came out to evaluate and give a detailed analysis on how to resolve our cracked concrete floor in our garage. Joe was very detailed about what was to be done and also showed a video that clearly explains how the floor would be corrected. I appreciate the help from fortress and their professionalism with this project. I would absolutely recommend fortress to anyone .

I have worked with Danny on two concrete lifting and leveling projects and he has always been great to work with! He didn’t just give us a quote, he took his time to walk through the project and educate us on the why and how of the repair process. Both projects were done flawlessly and have stood the test of time.
