Nathan Owen along with Dakota W, Jayden and Jamal did a great job on waterproofing the wall at 3610 South Main in Blacksburg. A bitterly cold day but they hung in there....with frozen toes and hands.Non stop, hard workers who should be commended for their work ethic.

Great work by Jordan and his team. They finished the job as promised within one day and it looks great. These guys were highly professional and the communication top-notch. I also like they they added extra plastic covering as per my request due to health concerns and they also did an extra bit of work for me on the house where there was a hole in the wall. Fortress Foundation Solutions did an amazing job replacing the jacks in the crawlspace and installing additional support to correct a sagging floor. The team of Gus, Luis, Jorge, and Erick were on time and professional. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I haven’t even decided yet if I’m going to go with Fortress foundation but I can tell u one thing. If this world had more ppl like Caleb Stone we would be much better off. Caleb showed up early, more than ready for any questions or concerns we threw at him. Not only was he absolutely 100% professional, but he was very personable and easy to relate to and talk with. When he showed up here, he had all the latest gizmos and gadgets to surpass any expectation that we had. To say he was thorough is an understatement. When I told him I wanted to go under the house to inspect the foundation with him not only was he completely on board to answer all my questions and what if’s but he had an extra hazmat suit for me and gloves to make sure I was completely comfortable and well protected. After doing the inspection of my home, he spent 30 to 45 minutes, just educating us on our possible options and outcomes, with the understanding that we might not even go with his company. But not once did I feel rushed or on a time crunch. I can’t say enough about how well this company has prepared their employees with training, retraining, and education. Being a veteran on a set income, he went over payment options with me and even got me preapproved in under five minutes. To say the least I was impressed and more then happy to give away my 8k. They also do military discounts. This company was built by one man, local here and has grown 3 states wide. I truly look fwd to doing business with them. Fortress stood by their work, took ownership, and resolved everything without adding stress or friction.Donny came out first to review and inspect our concerns, and he could not have been kinder or more thoughtful. He took the time to truly listen and advocate for us. In contrast to many past experiences where I have had to push to be heard, this felt entirely different. The team was transparent, willing to acknowledge mistakes when appropriate, and took the time to explain things clearly when expectations needed to be adjusted. That level of honesty and communication is rare and deeply appreciated.For the more complex poly work, they sent Tim all the way from Lynchburg. The care he brought to the project was genuinely unmatched. He was patient and gentle with my mom, and consistently kept me informed with calls, photos, and videos so I could stay involved every step of the way.Tmerik, Demi, and Ben from the admin offices also have been wonderful to work with. Their responsiveness, compassion, and attention to detail made a stressful situation feel much more manageable.We are still in the midst of remediation work, but the quality and care so far have been impressive. Nick and his whole crew demonstrated a very high level of professionalism while conducting my crawlspace encapsulation project. Nick, being the crew foreman, was an excellent communicator keeping me updated and ensuring that I understood the processes.
