Homeowners in Quantico, VA reached out to us for crawl space encapsulation after they saw mice in their crawl space and noticed significant issues with temperature and humidity in their home. Our Sales Professional, Pedro, visited the home to provide a free, no obligation estimate, and once the contract was signed, the 3 Pros Production Crew got to work. They started by placing a drainage layer and a vapor barrier in the crawl space floor. Our CleanSpace will prevent moisture as well as pests from entering the home via the crawl space. Keeping the crawl space dry can also reduce long-term damage to structure supporting building material. Next, they applied closed-cell spray foam insulation to the walls and rim joists, where the crawl space was releasing outside air into the main level of the home. These homeowners were happy with the work that was done and observed a great improvement of their home's overall health.
This Fairfax VA home had water in the crawl space so the homeowners called us to help install waterproofing solutions. After sealing up the crawl space and installing a sump pump, a discharge line was needed to direct the collected water away from the foundation of the home. After digging up the yard to create a trench, our production team tried to get the yard back to its original condition.
This Fairfax VA home had a sump pump that has been doing its job. Because of that, it was covered in corrosion, dirt, and sediment that came along with the dirty water it had been pumping out of the home for the last year. Our service tech Brent stopped in for an annual service check and got the pump cleaned and ready to keep working in the future.
This basement in Fairfax VA had unwanted water collecting in it. The home owners had installed a stand alone dehumidifier and placed it next to their existing sump pump to drain it. unfortunately, this is a common mistake made by many homeowners trying to self address basement water problems. Placing a dehumidifier next to a sump pump can lead to the same water being pulled back into the dehumidifier once it is drained in the sump pump well. This can overwork both devices and keeps the moisture in the area. Our production team installed a new sump pump with a cover and had it properly located to receive all of the water collected by our Water Guard basement waterproofing system.
