Before & After Photos

A homeowner in Letart, WV, was experiencing severe water intrusion and mold in their basement that eventually led to sticking doors and unlevel flooring on the upper levels! All of these problems were caused by moisture that must have been ongoing for a long time. The homeowner was growing concerned that, if not handled, their home may begin to lose value.

They discovered Alford Foundation & Crawl Space Repair when they received an ad in their daily mail. They called us for help after already completing a mold remediation. We sent a crew to Letart to start professional basement waterproofing and permanent floor stabilization. First, we added proper drainage to ensure any intruding water made its way through the drains and outside the home before ever touching the floor. We installed CleanSpace antimicrobial vapor barrier along the walls to protect the basement from moisture. We also placed a TripleSafe sump system to safely remove water and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to remove moisture from the air at all times. Finally, we installed SmartJacks to lift, secure, and level the sagging floors.

This homeowner has a complete and reliable waterproofing solution to protect their home for the future. They have peace of mind knowing water is no longer a worry for their dry, clean, safe basement, and their floors are level and smooth, allowing them to walk around without tripping!
