This project focused on improving the condition and protection of the crawl space. Our team installed the CleanSpace encapsulation system to create a clean, dry, and sealed environment. The liner was securely fastened and air-sealed around all interior footings and piers, and extended about 24 inches up the crawl space walls for added moisture protection.

To support the system, we also placed CleanSpace Drainage Matting underneath the liner. This matting helps water drain properly while adding extra durability and comfort especially useful for storing items in the crawl space. It was installed across the entire floor and continued 6 inches up the exterior walls to help block ground seepage at the floor and wall joint.

The result is a sealed, healthier crawl space that helps protect the home from moisture, mould, and musty odors.

This project focused on strengthening the structure of the crawl space while improving insulation and overall conditions. Adjustable support posts were installed to stabilize floor joists and beams, helping reduce movement and restore proper support. Where a steel beam could not be used, a laminated beam was installed to replace existing supports and ensure stability.

Additional cross supports were added between joists to help prevent twisting and improve overall strength. The crawl space was also vacuumed to remove dust and debris.

To improve comfort and energy efficiency, insulation was installed along the walls and in the rim joist areas, with all seams carefully sealed to reduce drafts and prevent moisture issues.

These upgrades help create a stronger, more stable structure while improving energy performance and maintaining a cleaner crawl space environment.

This project focused on repairing and reinforcing a foundation crack to prevent water intrusion and restore structural strength. The team injected the crack with a flexible sealing material under high pressure to create a permanent water barrier. After performing a flood test to confirm the repair, a carbon fiber weave was applied with epoxy to strengthen the wall and provide long-lasting structural stability.

This project focused on improving water management, sealing the crawl space, and upgrading insulation for better long-term protection. We started by removing the old sump pump and cleaning out the sump pit, then installing a new, more reliable pump to ensure proper water removal. Old plastic piping was removed and disposed of, and the sump lid was secured with new bolts for a tighter seal.

Next, we refreshed the crawl space liner by cleaning the existing material, removing any organic debris, and resealing the top edge along the wall to maintain an airtight barrier. A new drainage layer was installed across the floor and up the walls to help manage ground moisture. Over this, a new liner was installed, extended up the walls, and securely fastened and sealed for added protection.

To improve energy efficiency, new insulation was added to the rim joist area to reduce heat loss and drafts.

Overall, this work helps keep the crawl space dry, clean, and well-sealed, protecting the home from moisture issues while improving comfort and durability for the homeowners.

Per the homeowner’s request, the liner was extended higher up the walls to provide extra coverage and protection.
