This project focused on repairing foundation damage while giving the crawl space long-term protection against water and moisture. Foundation cracks were professionally sealed using advanced repair methods, then reinforced with structural materials to restore strength, stop water intrusion, and help prevent future movement. The repaired areas were cleaned, neatly finished, and tested to ensure they were watertight.

To further protect the home, the crawl space was sealed with a durable liner system installed around footings, piers, and foundation walls. A drainage layer was added beneath the liner to help manage ground moisture, and the sump area was upgraded with a durable, moisture-resistant cover to create a cleaner, better-sealed system.

To improve comfort and energy efficiency, new insulation was installed along the foundation walls and in the rim joist areas, with all seams carefully sealed to reduce drafts and moisture issues.

The result is a stronger foundation, a drier crawl space, and a healthier home with long-lasting protection against water damage and structural concerns.

For this project, we transformed the crawl space into a clean, dry, and healthier environment. Our work included fully sealing the area, insulating the walls, and protecting the space from outside moisture. We also added drainage protection to help with ground seepage, cleaned and prepped the space by removing debris and spider webs, and installed a dehumidifier to control humidity levels. In addition, we insulated the rim joists and stud walls for improved energy efficiency. Altogether, these steps make the crawl space more durable, comfortable, and better protected for the long term.

This project focused on cleaning up the crawl space and addressing areas affected by rodent activity. We started by carefully removing and disposing of the old fiberglass insulation from the floor joists, rim joists, and foundation walls. Removing this material helps clear out insulation that may have collected dirt, odours, or contamination over time.

Once the old insulation was removed, the concrete surfaces, dirt floor, and tops of the ductwork were thoroughly treated with a specialized cleaning solution designed for areas affected by rodent urine. This step helps sanitize the space, reduce lingering odours, and create a cleaner environment beneath the home.

By removing contaminated materials and treating the affected surfaces, the crawl space is left cleaner and better prepared for any future insulation, moisture-control, or protection upgrades.

This project included both a safety inspection and finishing improvements in the crawl space area. The team began by inspecting the temporary wooden supports that were installed during the foundation work to ensure they could be safely removed without affecting the structure. Once confirmed, attention was turned to completing the space under the stairs. A protective liner was installed to seal the area, and new rigid insulation panels were added to the walls and ceiling, helping to improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall cleanliness.
