To stop further water leakage in this Potterville resident's basemnet, he called Ayers. Our team installed our specialized WaterGuard system to resolve the issue. WaterGuard is a drain system that sits below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, catching water that runs through basement walls. After catching this water, WaterGuard then filters the water into a sump pump. This system creates usable space that is free of water.

When these homeowners purchased their Potterville, MI home they thought that the basement water issues had been solved, at least, that’s what they were told. 3 years later, the walls were still leaking and the sump pump that came with the home couldn’t keep up. What these residents needed was a system they could depend on, something like our TripleSafe sump pump. With our most trustworthy sump in the home, these homeowners could be sure that reliability wouldn’t be a problem again.  The TripleSafe system – seen in the after photo – has 2 different backup pumps inside. One of those pumps will kick in if the original has too much to deal with and the other turns on in the event of a power failure. The two different discharge lines coming out of the TripleSafe make it possible for the sump to push out water through different pumps without overflowing or back loading the system. This home now has the type of protection it was assured of 3 years before. 

When these Westphalia, MI residents started noticing a strange odor in their kitchen, they set about to locating the source. They found the answer in their crawl space and weren’t too happy with the discovery. They had already known that the crawl space was dealing with previous issues. Specifically, no matter what the temperature of the house was, the crawl space remained cold. The bad odor gave them another reason to finally address the issue. Included in the package, are several different types of insulation: The SilverGlo wall insulation and spray foam are both seen in the after photo, and a Terrablock foam insulation rests on the floor underneath the vapor barrier. With these products working together, the crawlspace temperature should no longer be an issue. All of these items have another role in the project, as well. That is their ability to stop outside air - the main culprit for humidity, mold and bad odors - from coming in.  As a package, the Ultimate Energy Saver will protect these homeowners from moldy smells and overspending on heating costs.

TripleSafe is a sump pump system that’s main goal is to keep your basement dry. It provides ultimate protection against all basement leakage and any moisture problems because it has three pumps within this one system. One of the pumps is battery powered so that the system can work even during power outages.

Trevor has been experiencing water seepage through the corners of his unfinished basement for years. It was finally time to permanently resolve the leaks by calling Ayers. First, our subfloor drainage system, called WaterGuard, collects water leaking through the walls and reroutes it to the sump pump. The specially designed piping is installed along the perimeter of the basement below the walls and is covered by pouring fresh concrete over the top. Lastly, we added our three-pump system TripleSafe. Each pump lives in one durable liner and handles the water intrusion by directing the water outside the home. The third pump has a battery pack to ensure it runs during power outages. Trevor's worries about water damage in his basement are gone!
