Joe was in the process of finishing his basement and wanted to have an Egress Window installed to complete this process. These windows are larger and include an exterior well with a step in it. They allow for quick, safe exits in the event an emergency occurs. They make the space feel more open and inviting since natural light will now fill the room. They make the perfect addition to your finished basement and Joe won't have to worry about water leaking in because the windows are waterproof. Joe was thrilled with how the Egress Windows transformed the space! 

Tony was over having to deal with water leaks causing trouble in his home after a failed DIY attempt to fix his problems himself years ago. He called up Ayers for a long-lasting, trustworthy solution. After inspection our crew decided he could use our WaterGuard Drainage System, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and our IceGuard. 

The WaterGuard solution is a sub-floor drainage system that is installed along the perimeter of your basement that will catch water or dirt and direct the flow to your drainage and sump pump system. Concrete is poured over this system to conceal it and you can have regular flooring installed over this as well if you want. TripleSafe consists of three pumps that fit in one liner that work to keep water out of your basement. The first pump is the main leader in keeping water out and the second will run if assistance is needed or the first fails. The last pump will turn on if the power goes out as it is battery-operated. The last installation was our IceGuard which was installed on the outside of his home and will prevent his discharge lines from freezing or clogging in the cold weather.

Tony was happy to replace his DIY fix and have a trustworthy waterproofing system installed instead so he now is worry free from water leaks ruining his property!

Keith was looking into getting a dehumidifier for the church he works for in Whitmore Lake, MI. He decided to call Ayers for the job, so we sent a crew to the church to begin the installation. Our SaniDry XP Dehumidifier will clean and dry the air, making the services there much more enjoyable. This system will reduce the risk of mold growth as well. This dehumidifier will never need to be emptied and is even ten times more powerful than your average dehumidifier. The SaniDry XP Dehumidifier is designed to effectively perform in extremely damp environments and has the capability to take care of 109 pints of water a day. Keith was happy to receive a solution that would help keep the church clean and dry!

Marc was hoping to get an Egress Window installed in his finished basement for the finishing touch and to make it a legal bedroom. He saw that Ayers sells Egress Windows and decided to set up an appointment with us.

Egress Windows are great for basements since they are larger and allow for a safe exit option in emergency situations. This is an especially important feature if someone will be living down there. This window will open up the room and make it more inviting. More natural light and fresh air will fill the space as well. Tim's Pinconning, MI home was built in 1945. It had previously belonged to his mother since the 70s. Years ago, a cement trucked parked right next to the house, cracking areas of the foundation. Since then, the cracks have only gotten worse, forming a major stair-step crack throughout the basement. Water comes though whenever it rains and Tim has to be in the basement with a shop-vac for hours cleaning up the mess. 

Tim was looking for peace of mind regarding the home that protected him and his family for years, so he called Ayers Basement Systems. Our crew came out for an inspection and determined Tim would need CarbonArmor to stabilize the foundation, and WaterGuard and CleanSpace to combat the water coming in.   

CarbonArmor is a flexible, fabric like epoxy that is 10x stronger than steel. The epoxy adheres to your basement walls and penetrates into the surface to reinforce and stabilize the foundation.   

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through basement walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth.   

With all of these products combined, Tim is ensured a safe, dry, and sturdy home for years to come. He was thrilled with the professionalism of the crew and great communication throughout the project. He can't wait to start making new memories in his mother's old house!
