A short time later our crew arrived at Brenda & Randy’s home to execute our solution plan. First, they installed our CleanSpace encapsulation product. This product provides a thick plastic barrier that completely seals off the crawlspace from the elements it faces below. Additionally, our crew installed a Triple Safe sump pump to help keep water out of their crawl space. The pump contains an air tight lid, floor drain, pump stand, and a pump alarm.

Minnie had an old and dirty crawlspace. Looking for encapsulation options, she called our team. We installed CleanSpace, a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier. CleanSpace restricts all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier.

This below-water level crawl space of this summer cottage in Fennville, MI had leaky walls, drainage issues and exposed dirt, all contributing to the damp atmosphere of the space. To keep humidity low, our team installed a SaniDry dehumidifier, along with WaterGuard, a drainage system placed on top of the footing along the perimeter of the space to help drain any leaks. Finally, draining matting was installed on the floor before a CleanSpace liner was fitted over it to block moisture and mold and to seal off the area from the earth.

Our customer had their crawl space encapsulated. To ensure it stayed dry and did not allow outside air in, we installed our Everlast door. The Everlast door is a snug-fitting all plastic door that stops air and moisture from entering the crawl space.

Your crawl space access door should always seal super tight. A lof of times crawl space doors are made of plywood which rots easily and ends up looking awful, and not sealing off your crawl space like it should. The answer to solve this is an all plastic door that can't rot, it won't warp or need paint and bugs won't eat it. The knobs screw into the anchors pulling the door tight against weather stripping to seal off outside air.
