Leslie’s third-generation home on Diamond Lake was beautiful, but cold floors and high heating bills made winters unbearable. Freezing air was seeping through her uninsulated crawl space, making it harder to keep the home warm. Ayers installed CleanSpace® vapor barrier and rim joist insulation to seal out the cold and lock in warmth. Now, Leslie and her family can enjoy cozy floors, lower energy bills, and a more comfortable home all winter long.

David's floor was freezing since the weather changed, and he couldn't stand dealing with cold feet. He needed the issue resolved, so he researched his options and called Ayers for help. Our professionals visited his home to evaluate and realized the vents in his crawl space allowed cold air underneath his house. They installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier, a highly durable and antimicrobial-lined material. CleanSpace deters moisture and cold air entry and consequently prevents cold feet. David loves his warm floor!

Although there wasn't moisture in the crawl space when he called, Peter wanted to keep it that way and encapsulate the crawl space under the home his father had built in the early 1970s.

We used CleanSpace vapor barrier with drainage matting to protect the crawl space, and put vent covers over the crawl space vents to prevent the entry of water and debris.

Two customers had musty odors coming into their home from their crawl space. So they called our team and we installed CleanSpace, an uninterrupted vapor barrier. This material is applied to the walls and floor of your crawl space. It restricts all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home.
