Donna attempted to fix her crawl space moisture issues by herself with a tarp she bought from the store. She quickly realized this tarp would not hold up well in the long run. It started collecting dirt and moisture, so she called Ayers for our crawl space solutions. Our system design specialists inspected the area and concluded CleanSpace would do the trick. CleanSpace prevents water vapor from entering through the soil and crawl space walls. Before installing the airtight plastic liner, we place our drainage matting on the floor. The dimpled mat allows water to flow under the liner to a sump pump in the crawl space floor. The antimicrobial liner prevents the growth of mold or bacteria. Donna is over the moon with the professional new look of her crawl space!

The customer called because their crawl space had all of the usual problems - smelly, damp, making the floors above it cold - but they were concerned that it was too small to really be able to fix it.

While it's true that the access point and crawl space were only about two feet high, that's plenty of room for us! Just make sure to let us know in advance and we will send one of our smaller guys. It was no problem to install the CleanSpace vapor barrier system and we even put a new, better door on the crawl space.

Our customer called with "excessive dampness" throughout her basement and the small attached crawl space. Adding to the problem was that the crawl space was tiny - no more than two feet high and not entirely dug out - but still in need of encapsulation to prevent it being a further problem.

We used WaterGuard below-floor drain to get the basement portion's problems under control, and CleanSpace vapor barrier to encapsulate the crawl space and protect against ambient moisture.

Tim’s finished basement has been encountering water intrusion issues. There are no noticeable cracks and this isn't the first time water has entered his basement. So he called our team and we installed the CleanSpace Basement Finishing Wall System to prevent any more water intrusion. Using a poly sheet material to completely cover his basement foundation walls, this system acts as a vapor and moisture barrier. The material is waterproof, stain resistant and can be applied over many different types of surfaces. This system was perfect for Tim by putting a stop to all water intrusion in his basement immediately.

We were referred to this Empire, MI customer by a local realtor. Her issue wasn’t too bad. In fact, other than some hanging insulation and a little debris, it was one of the cleaner crawl spaces that we’ve worked on. She wanted an encapsulation that would keep it this way. The crew paid her a visit with our CleanSpace System to do just that. CleanSpace creates a barrier that is impenetrable by moisture and vapor saving crawl spaces from a host of problems, many that are much worse than just appearance. The wood support beams in the photos are especially at risk. If moisture enters, they may begin to rot or grow mold.  But as you can see in the after photo, the entire room was encapsulated and there is no possible entry for moisture, even the joints were sealed with the spray foam insulation - Froth Pak. The plastic white liner also gives the crawl space a very bright and clean look.
