The CleanSpace vapor barrier is impenetrable by moisture or humidity, meaning that neither of the main causes of that musty smell will be present in the newly protected crawl space.

We inspected his home and decided to install our CleanSpace technology. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durability, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a 20mm thick plastic lining that completely seals off the crawl space from the harsh elements it faces below. To supplement the CleanSpace, we also installed FrothPak rim joist foam insulation. This will increase the energy efficiency of Dave’s home and help lower his energy costs. With this CleanSpace encapsulation system in place, we were able to turn this wet crawlspace into a healthy, dry and usable space.
