Client was looking to clean up their crawl space and allow for a major energy efficient storage space.  

Lisa reached out to American Waterworks to help with encapsulating her crawlspace in her home in Neillsville, WI.  American Waterworks had worked with Lisa in the past and she was more than thrilled with both experiences.  

Rick and Vicki S. of Camp Douglas, WI had water seeping through their crawl space, making them worry about mold, rats, insects, and other pests. They went online and came across American Waterworks and our crawl space waterproofing products. They called our office line and scheduled a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Charles Haldeman. Charles went to their home, inspected their problems, and came up with a solution that fit their needs. Rick and Vicki were confident in the product and warranty, so they went ahead with the installation. 

Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team started the project by installing 1,431 feet of drainage matting, which gives the water that floods into the crawl space a channel underneath the crawl space liner. It is a useful piece of material in the process to keep any crawl space dry. Next, Cole and his team installed 1,596 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which keeps away odors, mold, termites, cockroaches, mice, and other pests that need excess moisture to survive. Rick and Vicky were both very happy with the work and had a great experience! 

A homeowner in Saint Joseph, MN, had noticed staircase cracks had formed along her basement walls and was concerned they would continue to grow, leading to further instability. She looked into services in the area and came upon one of our ads on social media. She took it upon herself to browse through our website and was impressed with our "Before and After" photos. Our Design Specialist, Daniel R., arrived at the home in several weeks and assessed the basement. He explained to the homeowner that one of the most common causes of foundation damage is hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure exerted by fluid. When the soil surrounding the foundation gets saturated with water, it puts tremendous pressure on the walls. Once the pressure exceeds what the wall can withstand, it is common to see bowing, sheeting, and cracks in the foundation walls. Due to this reason, Daniel recommended our PowerBrace. He explained to the homeowner that our PowerBrace is installed by first cutting the braces so that it fits the height of the wall. Then, the top of the brace is attached to a floor joist at the top of the wall. The crew would then straighten the brace and attach it to the floor. Alongside stabilizing the foundation walls, our PowerBrace has the potential to straighten the walls over time. The homeowner was grateful for Daniel's explanation and agreed to his suggestion. Daniel's plans were then sent to our Foreman, Diego B., for the installation. 

In a couple of months, Diego and his crew arrived at the home. They installed a total of three of our PowerBrace. Once they were done with the project, they cleaned up their equipment and left the home.

A homeowner in Maplewood, MN, noticed a large crack growing across their foundation wall. Worried their foundation was in serious trouble, the homeowner knew they needed to find a solution. Next, the Design Specialist passed the plans along to our Logistics team to build and approve the project. Our Logistics team built the project and scheduled it for the following weeks. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew traveled to the home to begin. First, Kiko and his crew made sure his walls were ready for installation. Next, Kiko and his crew installed the Geolock Wall Anchors on the struggling wall. After all the Geolock Wall Anchors were secured, Kiko and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was impressed with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to repair its customers' damaged walls.
