A homeowner in Tomah, WI noticed small cracks forming along her foundation wall. It wasn't until she noticed the wall bowing and tilting inward where she quickly took action. Our Design Specialist, Will R traveled to the home and explained to the homeowner that the issue could be fixed with our PowerBrace, a wall repair system that's designed to keep bowing walls at bay. Will explained that the PowerBrace is installed by cutting the braces to the appropriate height of your wall. It is then placed on the failing wall and secured to the floor and top of the wall. After it is attached it is then tightened to straighten that wall. The homeowner agreed and Will's plans were quickly sent to our Foreman, Diego B, and his crew. On the day of the installation Diego B and his crew installed 5 PowerBrace's satisfying our customer. Now, our customer no longer has to worry about her failing wall.

A Redby, MN, had been keeping an eye on his basement wall for a few years now. A while back, he noticed that his basement walls were showing signs of cracking in multiple areas. He was concerned about what would happen if he left the issue alone, so he decided to seek a professional's input. After searching for MN foundation repair, he found our website. Once Ian concluded his comprehensive inspection, he met with the homeowner to discuss the next steps. On the day of the project, our Foreman, Aaron R, and his team installed 7 of our PowerBrace's throughout the basement of the home. Now, our homeowner can breathe a bit easier knowing the foundation of his home is adequately protected.

Jon A. in Maple Grove, MN had some severe cracking in his foundation walls. He visited our booth at the Minneapolis Home and Remodeling show and spoke with our Design Specialist, Jeremy Radtke. Jon approved of what American Waterworks has to offer, and Jeremy set up an appointment with him to propose the best, cost-effective solution for his home. 

Our Foreman, Jesus Covarrubias, and his production crew were able to stabilize Jon’s foundation by installing 8 of our Geo-Lock Wall Anchors around the deteriorating foundation. They drilled long rods through the brick until they hit supportive soil. They removed the concrete in the garage where they would need to put on the plates for the anchors. They installed the plates on either end of the rod and tightened the anchors. Lastly, they replaced the concrete and cleaned up their work area. The anchors secure and stabilize the wall. They continue to straighten the walls and can be tightened over time as the wall gradually moves back into place. Our foundation repair systems are guaranteed for a lifetime, so Jon can rest easy knowing he chose a permanent solution to protect the foundation of his home.

Sean D. of Maple Grove, MN had a crack in his foundation wall, raising awareness of the structure of the home. He called our Appointment Center here at American Waterworks to claim his FREE estimate with our Design Specialist. Our Design Specialist not only examined the wall showing foundation issues but provided Sean with a full house inspection to provide the appropriate solution for Sean. Our Design Specialist recommended Sean invest in our GeoLock Wall Anchor System. The GeoLock Wall Anchor system is a solution that stabilizes the foundation, preventing any bowing or further cracking. Over time these anchors may be tightened to straighten the wall. Sean agreed with the proposal and schedule an installation date. 

Our Foreman, Jesus C, and his production team began the process by digging four holes in the garage to insert a long rod, from the inside, through the foundation wall with an issue. At the end of the rod, there is a GeoLock Wall Anchor that permanently stabilizes the foundation of the house using the hard-packed, compact soil that is underneath the home. Once the GeoLock is placed and ready, the production team backfills the holes with new soil and placed a layer of concrete above to give the floor a finishing look. Sean was very satisfied with the project and is not worried about the foundation of his home.
