The homeowners prepared for the arrival of one of our Design Specialists, Nick. After he arrived, Nick began completing the thorough inspection of the basement. Following the inspection, Nick determined that the walls needed to be permanently stabilized. Nick recommended a solution that would solve the wall stability issues, along with the risk of basement flooding. After contemplating their options, the homeowners decided that the focus should be on the wall stability issues. The plans were then directed to the assigned crew and production commenced. Our Foreman, Lane, and his crew arrived at the property to begin the project. To stabilize the wall, the crew decided to utilize CarbonArmor strips. The crew installed the CarbonArmor strips onto the south basement wall. Once the CarbonArmor was attached to the wall, the crew cleaned up their job site and left the home. The homeowners were glad to know that their basement walls were permanently stabilized. American Waterworks is happy to help out another customer.

During the inspection, he took a close look at the foundation walls, where he identified which walls had begun shifting. Myron and Karla of Bowman, ND got in contact with us when they began to notice one of their basement walls was beginning to bow inward, showing signs of wall failure. The couple wanted to resell the house at some point and were interested in correcting the issue sooner rather than later. They called our office and we set them up with our FREE estimates. A few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Ian, headed out to the property to see what we could do to help. After his inspection, he recommended the use of our GeoLock wall anchors to correct the issue. He explained that these anchors work to stabilize failing walls but anchoring them to the hard-packed virgin soil beyond the foundation of the home, pulling them back into place. Troy G. in Selfridge, ND had cracked and bowing foundation walls in his basement. He was worried about the structural stability of his home, so he got in contact with our office staff at American Waterworks. Our Foreman, Corey Tollefson, and his production team began the installation by digging small holes outside of the home. From the inside of the basement, our team drilled a long, medal rod through the wall to each hole outside of the home. On the ends of each rod, our crew screwed on and tightened a GeoLock Wall Anchor. This wall anchor system stabilizes the foundation wall by anchoring the walls to the hard-packed soil beyond the foundation. To complete the project, Corey and his team backfilled each hole and replaced the soil, leaving the yard looking neater than when they found it. Troy was happy with the work and had a great experience! 

A homeowner in Ray, ND, was distressed about the foundation walls crumbling in their basement. Frantically searching for a solution, the homeowner called American Waterworks for a FREE estimate. After the EverBrace was installed, the crew installed the PowerBraces near the stairs for additional support. Now that the PowerBraces were in place, the crew installed SmartJacks and a supplemental beam to provide additional support for the foundation.
