For years, these homeowners struggled with water infiltration and high humidity. This was causing the wood joists and beams to rot, creating an unstable situation. Cleveland Basement Systems repaired both of these issues for the customers. To repair the supports, the crew installed the SmartJack system to replace the rusted beams. SmartJacks will not rust or corrode and can be adjusted if needed. To waterproof the basement, the crew installed a comprehensive waterproofing system that included the CleanSpace vapor barrier, WaterGuard perimeter drain, SaniDry dehumidifier and TripleSafe sump pump. This customer was relieved to have all of these large issues handled by one, local and reputable company.
These homeowners were trying to combat high humidity levels with an outdated humidifier. Cleveland Basement Systems hooked up a SaniDry dehumidifier to the new TripleSafe sump pump system in order to keep the moisture in check. The SaniDry is a self-draining, powerful product that will decrease high humidity effectively.
Not only did we clean the old, fallen insulation in this wet crawl space, but we also ensured that moisture was controlled using the CleanSpace encapsulation system and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
This homeowners faulty wall was fixed with the EverBrace wall restoration system. EverBrace uses engineered steel I-beams to anchor to the top track and floor. Specially cut steel panels are then installed and hung along the failing foundation wall. The EverBrace system transfers the heavy load from the fragile wall to the durable support system.
This homeowner had both foundation and waterproofing issues in her basement. Cleveland Basement Systems installed the PowerBrace, CleanSpace and WaterGuard systems to combat all of these issues. CleanSpace was first installed on the cement block wall to resist mold growth as a powerful vapor barrier. Once the PowerBrace system was put in, they transferred the weight from the weak wall onto the strong, steel beams. WaterGuard was then laid at the base of the PowerBrace system along the perimeter of the basement in order to catch all water and direct it to the sump pump.
