Not only did we clean the old, fallen insulation in this wet crawl space, but we also ensured that moisture was controlled using the CleanSpace encapsulation system and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
This homeowners faulty wall was fixed with the EverBrace wall restoration system. EverBrace uses engineered steel I-beams to anchor to the top track and floor. Specially cut steel panels are then installed and hung along the failing foundation wall. The EverBrace system transfers the heavy load from the fragile wall to the durable support system.
This homeowner had both foundation and waterproofing issues in her basement. Cleveland Basement Systems installed the PowerBrace, CleanSpace and WaterGuard systems to combat all of these issues. CleanSpace was first installed on the cement block wall to resist mold growth as a powerful vapor barrier. Once the PowerBrace system was put in, they transferred the weight from the weak wall onto the strong, steel beams. WaterGuard was then laid at the base of the PowerBrace system along the perimeter of the basement in order to catch all water and direct it to the sump pump.
This customer's foundation was slightly bowing due to hydrostatic pressure behind the wall. This caused stair-step cracking along the walls. Cleveland Basement Systems installed the two-part epoxy adhesive, CarbonArmor, to reinforce the wall. CarbonArmor uses carbon fiber that is 10 times stronger in tension than steel and is designed specifically for basement walls.
This homeowner's foundation was bowing and shifting, creating an unstable home. Cleveland Basement Systems installed the GeoLock wall anchor system to stop wall failure in its tracks. GeoLock is installed through the foundation and into stable soil in order to permanently stabilize the foundation wall.
