Crawl Space Encapsulation on Berry Run Rd, Orange, VA

We want to protect your forever home! This was the case for one homeowner in Orange, VA who was having water leak into his crawl space. Our System Designer, Danny Camunas, designed a solution by encapsulating the crawl space in the home with CleanSpace and installing a sump pump and dehumidifier. We were able to protect his home from any future water leaks, providing peace of mind for our customers and their home!

Crawl space humidity repair in Gaithersburg, MD

Steven and Linda have lived in their Williamsport, Maryland home for the past 5 years. Over time, they started noticing major comfort issues inside the home. In the winter, the floors were freezing cold, and in the summer, the house became hot, humid, and smelled musty.

They knew something peculiar was going on, but they couldn’t figure out the source. They tried sealing doors with foam, covering windows, and doing everything they could upstairs - but nothing worked.

Finally, they decided to look literally beneath their feet and checked their crawl space. What they found explained everything. The crawl space was exposed dirt, barely covered by old plastic, the insulation in the floor joists was falling down as seen in the before photo, and the vents were wide open.

After seeing the condition of the crawl space, they Googled “crawl space repair in Gaithersburg, MD” and Fortress popped up. They gave us a call, received a free estimate from Matt, and Pete was out just days later installing the solution you see in the after photo.

Now, they no longer complain about harsh winter floors or summer humidity, and they’re even starting to notice a subtle decrease in their electric bills as well.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Powhatan, Virginia

The crawl space in this Powhatan, Virginia home had clear signs of moisture and high humidity in the before photo. Left alone, those conditions can lead to mold, wood rot, and higher energy bills.

We fixed the issue by sealing the space with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Encapsulation System to keep moisture out. SilverGlo insulation was added to improve energy efficiency, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier now keeps humidity at a consistent, healthy level.

With these upgrades in place, the crawl space is dry, more efficient, and better for the overall health of the home.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Mineral, Virginia

In Mineral, Simon wanted to address moisture concerns in his 1,200-square-foot crawl space before they began affecting the rest of the home. The area was exposed to excess humidity and lacked proper insulation, creating unstable conditions beneath the house and increasing the risk of future moisture-related problems.

Scott and his crew installed a complete CleanSpace® vapor barrier system throughout the crawl space to seal out ground moisture and create a cleaner, more controlled environment beneath the home. To further improve the space, SilverGlo™ insulation was added along the crawl space walls to help regulate temperatures and increase the home’s overall energy efficiency.

As shown in the after photo, the crawl space is now cleaner, drier, and far better protected from future moisture issues. Simon can now enjoy greater peace of mind knowing the area beneath his home is properly sealed, insulated, and built for long-term protection.

Crawl space encapsulation in Adamstown, MD

In Adamstown, MD, a homeowner was looking to upgrade their crawl space and contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions for a free inspection. Paul, one of our experienced System Designers, performed a thorough evaluation of the crawl space and discovered signs of water intrusion and elevated humidity levels.

After reviewing his findings and recommendations, the homeowners decided to move forward with the project. Our crew removed the hanging insulation, addressed the water issues, installed our drainage system, and tied everything into a TripleSafe™ sump pump system.

While a TripleSafe™ sump pump is not typically necessary in every crawl space, this particular home was taking on a significant amount of water. Based on the conditions, we determined that installing the sump pump was the best long-term solution to properly protect the crawl space and keep it dry.
