The basement of this home in Fries,VA had a recurring problem with water seeping in after periods of heavy rain. The homeowner reached out to Fortress because they wanted a permanent solution.

Our System Designer went out to evaluate this problem, and determined that the best solution would be to install our WaterGuard XL System along the basement perimeter with a TripeSafe Sump Pump. 

Our crew installed the WaterGuard System designed to capture any water before it reaches the basement floor. The water is then drained away to the TripleSafe sump pump and pumped out of the home. The TripleSafe has two pumps ready for heavy rain and a third to operate off of a battery backup in case of a power outage. Together these products will ensure this basement will stay dry all year long in every circumstance!

This customer had a problem of repeated flooding. After this customer saw what Fortress FOundation Solutions did in this customer's neighbor's house, he had us install a full perimeter WaterGuard with a SuperSump Plus System. This customer will never have a flooded basement again!

This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions with a flooding basement and bowing walls. To solve these issues, Fortress installed a WaterGuard with a SuperSump Plus System. We also installed a Trench Drain where the water was entering in the garage. Finally, The Fortress Team installed a PowerBrace where the wall was bowing.

The homeowners in Max Meadows, VA called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about water coming into the basement of this home. Our System Designer was able to go out to this home and provide a free estimate for a permanent solution. Our System Designer suggested our Water Guard system. This system allows water to flow to a sump pump and out of your basement. We also installed our Supersump sump pump. This pump helps put the water out of the basement through a discharge line. Our Foreman and his crew installed these products and left these homeowners knowing they had a permanent solution for their home.     

This homeowner gave Fortress a call because each time they would receive any rain in their area, their basement would too!

Our system designer, Chris Guill, went out to their home to do a complete inspection. After providing an estimate that included a full perimeter WaterGuard System along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump, this homeowner quickly agreed! 

Our WaterGuard System is the ideal choice when waterproofing a basement. This French drain system is installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing, keeping the drainage system out of the "mud zone" where it could potentially get clogged. All water enters the WaterGuard flowing to the sump pump and is pumped out of the home. The TripleSafe includes three pumps - two for heavy rains and the third connected to a battery backup in case the power goes out. Now the basement is dry in all situations.
