We have had the BEST experience with Fortress! It all started with Danny who came out quickly to help evaluate what we would need as we had 4 feet of water in our finished basement. We knew we never wanted to experience that again. He made the process so easy and put our mind at ease. We talked to many others, but we were sure Fortress was the best choice.When it came time for the work, Nathan, Dakota W., Antoney and Kevin were amazing! They further confirmed for us that we made the right choice. They called the morning of the project to let me know they were on their way. This was a pretty big project, so of course I was a little nervous. I had also had a friend who had a similar thing done with a different company, and the job they did and all around experience was terrible, so naturally I was extra nervous. From the moment they arrived, and we started discussing the project and how they were going to begin and confirming what they were going to do, my worries were diminished.They were extremely courteous, respectful and efficient. They left the space clean and aside from the system they installed you would never have known they were there. The explained everything along the way, and did all they could to be sure we knew exactly how everything works. They made the entire experience a positive one! My husband and I could not be more pleased and could not recommend them enough! We have some crawlspaces that will most likely also need tending to in the next couple of years, and I can only hope that they will be the ones to come and complete that project as well. Even though water in your basement is something we never wish on anyone, we are so glad to have been able to work with Fortress and their amazing team and would for sure use them again!

Madison did a great job of telling what her company does. I will keep her in mind. Somethings they can help with include basement waterproofing, crawl space repair, foundation repair, humidity and mold control.

Cody did the annual maintenance for the encapsulation, jacks and dehumidifier under my house. He was so helpful and informative. He answered all my questions and explained the procedure. I was very pleased with the appointment.

Derrick was both kind and professional for his work. It was a small follow-up job but still right on time and addressed the sealant issue. Left jobsite clean and with a smile..very nice man.

Matt came out and gave me an estimate on what needed to be done and categorized things by necessary and nice to haves. He spent a lot of time with me going through all the options and helped remove shelving that was in the way of the job. Then Mike, David, and Austin installed a new sump pump and a waterguard drainage system in my basement today. They walked me through everything before and after the job and answered all my questions. They were very professional and left the space clean. I would definitely recommend this crew!

Scott, Dan, Anthony and Shaad did a tremendous job. They were both effective and extremely professional. Did the work, exactly per proposal, right on time and very courteous. I might not need to work with them again because the nature of their work is such they shouldn’t have to come back but I’d be glad to recommend them. Great work and here’s to dryer times!

I had contacted a local company (in Danville) to do the work but they never returned my call. Found FFS by google search and liked what I saw on their website.

Everything went smoothly with the installation. The crew cleaned up behind themselves well. Guys were personable people and overall great guys - Super professional. 11 out of 10!

From day one of my drainage and sump pump install, the Fortress team was fantastic. My basement had flooded several times and this was not a cheap project. I talked to 5 different companies before settling on Fortress.Disclaimer: I am NOT an easy customer when it comes to expensive projects like this. I read every fine print in detail and ask lots of questions, take my time on decisions, and cross compare between quotes and warranties etc. This can be annoying for a sales person, but Chris Wilmouth, took all of this in stride. He was direct and courteous and followed up in a timely manner with every question I had. When he didn't know, his manager was prompt in supporting him and they did a lot of work to make sure I was happy before signing the contract.On the days of the job, the team was also fantastic. Travis, Jack, Tim, and Kris were all kind and professional and did a really good job. I was home for the project and could also hear them talking all day. They got along great and figured out problems with the project in a timely manner. They remained professional and efficient throughout the whole project - all great qualities to see in a team working on your house!Last week, we had rains that would have flooded my basement again, but my sump pump kicked in and it all worked beautifully. Clean and dry!I would recommend this team again and when I'm ready for the next stage of my basement fix, I'll be calling them to do it.
