The drainage system will be connected to the existing rain leader to ensure proper water flow away from the foundation, helping to prevent pooling and moisture issues around the home.
This project focused on improving the window well to better protect the home from water buildup. The old window well materials were removed and properly disposed of, while excess soil and debris were cleared away to create the proper drainage space beneath the window. Clean stone was added to encourage better water flow.
A new window well was built using durable treated lumber, and a drainage layer was installed along the exterior to help direct water away from the foundation. The installation was neatly finished and the area was backfilled to restore the surrounding landscape.
The result is a stronger, longer-lasting window well that helps improve drainage and provides better protection against moisture around the home's foundation.
For this project, we completely transformed the crawl space into a clean, dry, and energy-efficient environment. We started by removing old materials, including fiberglass insulation, rigid foam, and the existing vapor barrier. Heating ducts, sewer lines, and other surfaces were wiped down, spider webs cleared, and all debris safely disposed of.
Next, we encapsulated the crawl space with a heavy-duty liner, carefully sealed at the footings, piers, and along the foundation walls. Drainage matting was installed beneath the liner and extended up the walls to protect against ground seepage, while also adding durability and comfort for storage.
To improve sanitation, all concrete surfaces, the foundation walls, soil, and rim joist area were sprayed with a germicide to neutralize rodent urine. We then installed new foil-faced wall insulation, sealing all seams and gaps with spray foam and foil tape to create a tight, moisture-resistant barrier that does not absorb odors. Finally, insulation was added to the rim joists, providing for maximum energy efficiency.
The result is a healthier, better-protected crawl space that improves comfort, energy savings, and long-term home durability.
This project focused on repairing a leaking foundation crack and preventing water from finding its way back into the home. The crack was carefully prepared, and a flexible waterproof material was injected deep inside to seal the opening rather than simply covering the surface.
Once sealed, the repair was neatly finished with cement and tested from the exterior with water to make sure the leak was fully stopped. The area was then cleaned and vacuumed, and any existing rigid insulation was reinstalled as needed.
The result is a clean, properly sealed foundation crack that helps keep the basement dry and protected from future water intrusion.
This project focused on solving several crawl space concerns at once, including water intrusion, cleanliness, insulation, and overall protection.
We started by cleaning the space, removing loose debris and spider webs, vacuuming the floor, and treating concrete surfaces, ducts, and the furnace in areas affected by rodent activity.
To address water issues, a new drainage system was installed to collect and direct water away. A foundation crack was also professionally injected, sealed, and flood-tested to confirm the leak had been stopped.
The crawl space was then fully sealed with a durable moisture barrier and drainage layer to help control ground seepage. New insulation was installed along the foundation walls and rim joist areas, while a sealed crawl space door and sump cover were added to create a tighter, more protected space.
The result is a cleaner, drier, and better-insulated crawl space with improved protection against water, moisture, and outside air.
