We recently completed a job to help fix and support a sagging floor in a home. The floor above the crawl space had started to dip in certain areas, so we installed strong steel supports underneath to help lift and hold it in place.

These supports were set on solid bases to make sure everything stays stable over time. Now, the floor is much more level and secure, giving the homeowner peace of mind and improving the overall safety and structure of the house.

This project combined moisture protection, insulation upgrades, and structural repair. A full CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed and carefully sealed around piers, footings, and along the foundation walls to block humidity and improve overall crawl space conditions. A drainage mat was added beneath the liner to protect against ground seepage and provide a durable surface.

The walls were insulated with all seams and gaps sealed to prevent drafts and moisture. A foundation crack was repaired using a high-pressure injection to stop water intrusion, followed by a carbon fiber reinforcement for added structural strength.

This project was all about turning a damp, cluttered, and unstable crawl space into a clean, dry, and structurally sound area. We began by sealing the space with a heavy-duty liner and drainage matting to protect against ground moisture. We also cleaned the area by removing debris, spider webs, and unused cables to make it safe and tidy.

Next, we removed old insulation and replaced it with high-performance wall and rim joist insulation that helps control temperature and blocks moisture. A reliable sump pump system was installed to handle any water buildup and prevent future flooding.

To address floor stability, we installed a support system designed to strengthen and stabilize the floor above. All these upgrades work together to protect the home from moisture, improve energy efficiency, and add structural support where it’s needed most.
