This homeowner had a sump pump installed by another company, but it was just not keeping water out. Especially after the major rain we had with Hurricane Helene. The homeowner was very unhappy so he reached out to us for a new system that would actually protect his home. After meeting with Eddie, they opted to get a TripleSafe Sump Pump installed. The TripleSafe has two pumps to maximize the capacity it can pump out, and if anything happens to one pump you still have the other one. It also has battery backup so it can keep running even when the power goes out. This pump offers more protection and a better ability to pump out water. Now the homeowner can have peace of mind that their home will stay dry!

We recently did a project in Molena, Georgia because water damage and unwanted smells troubling the homeowner. Our team at Atlanta Basement Systems transformed this basement using our proven solutions. We installed the WaterGuard® drainage system to effectively channel water to the SuperSump, protecting the basement from seepage. Additionally, the CleanSpace® encapsulation system was implemented for a comprehensive waterproofing strategy. Basement flooding can be prevented by installing a TrenchDrain surface drainage system at the bottom of basement stairs or across a walkout basement doorway. 

This homeowner reached out because they were unhappy with the current status of their basement. They reached out to Atlanta Basement Systems to get a free estimate on getting the basement fixed up. One of our System Design Inspectors went out to the house and walked the homeowner through the current problems and potential solutions. The two biggest issues were that water was getting into the basement and this was causing issues with the foundation.

In order to fix this, one of our crews installed multiple PowerBraces to stabilize the foundation walls. These steel beams stop further damage and also straighten out the walls again. Additionally, the crew waterproofed the basement by installing the  WaterGuard drainage system along with the CleanSpace Wall System. Now the basement is protected from water intrusion and the walls are stabilized and strong!

John from Ellenwood, Georgia reached out to us because after a heavy rain his basement flooded. He had only been living in the home for a couple years and he wanted to get this issue fixed as quickly as possible to protect his home and belongings that he was storing in the basement. His ultimate goal was to finish the basement and he knew that the first step was waterproofing it!

The main components of waterproofing his basement were installing the WaterGuard drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump and also putting the CleanSpace Wall System up on the walls. CleanSpace acts a vapor barrier that ensure any water that seeps through the cracks in the walls goes to the WaterGaurd drains and does not get into the basement. If large amounts of water are in the drains, the TripleSafe sump pump quickly pumps them out of the drain through the exterior discharge channel ensuring that the water doesn't get into the basement. 

Now John can continue finishing his basement without having to worry about water ruining it!
