In a recent basement waterproofing project in Atlanta, Georgia, a homeowner approached Atlanta Basement Systems with a pressing need to waterproof a basement before a real estate transaction. They faced persistent water seepage issues that risked impairing the basement’s structural integrity and could impact the sale of the property. Recognizing the need for a swift and effective solution, our team stepped in. The journey began with our Customer Care Specialist scheduling an in-depth inspection appointment, conducted by one of our experienced System Design Specialists. This comprehensive assessment pinpointed the root causes of the water intrusion issue and laid out a clear strategy for restoring the basement to a dry, usable space.

To address the problem, our solution included the installation of the WaterGuard system, CleanSpace, and a SuperSump pump. Our installation team initiated the process by laying the WaterGuard subfloor perimeter drainage system strategically along the affected foundation walls. This advanced, non-clogging drainage system was installed discreetly beneath the surface, efficiently channeling water directly to the SuperSump. The SuperSump, a robust sump pump with a 1/3 HP Zoeller cast iron pump, was then fitted to ensure reliable water evacuation. Its high-performance capabilities provide long-term peace of mind for the homeowner by actively preventing future flooding. Additionally, we completed the project with the installation of the CleanSpace encapsulation system. This heavy-duty liner acts as a resilient barrier against moisture and mold, ensuring significant protection against future dampness.

Upon completion, the homeowner was delighted to see a dry and revitalized basement ready for the upcoming property transaction. Through methodical planning and expert execution, Atlanta Basement Systems successfully transformed this once vulnerable space into a secure and long-lasting environment.

It was time to get rid of the musty odors in this customer's crawl space. To permanently solve that problem, we encapsulated the space and installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. 

The basement floor in this home had water seeping through causing stored items to become damaged. CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed along the walls and floor to ensure water intrusion is no longer a problem.  

As a result of a leaky basement wall, this basement needed waterproofing. In order to ensure a permanently dry basement, we installed a WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System, a high-quality sump pump, and CleanSpace wall vapor barrier. 

To prevent water from leaking into this customer's basement, we permanently fastened our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System to the basement wall. The water will drain down the back of the liner to the WaterGuard Interior Drainage System and into the sump pump system for removal.
