Water leaks can create serious damage in the basement, so it was wise of this homeowner to reach out to Woods Basement Systems to find a waterproofing solution. The drains that were installed are called WaterGuard drains. These drains stop water leaks in their tracks and direct them towards the sump pump to be pumped back outside. 

This St. Clair, Missouri basement had issues with water leaks during periods of rain. It would come out of cracks in the walls and pool on the floor, requiring constant cleanup. In order to fix this problem, a Woods Basement Systems team installed a WaterGuard drainage system. These gutter-like drains are placed underneath the floor at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water before it can make it into the space. 

A basement in Saint Clair, MO, was leaking during heavy rain and needed a strong waterproofing system to keep it dry all the time. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This product will never clog, due to the horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is in great shape!

After determining the TripleSafe sump pump would be the best solution, Woods' crew completed the installation. This pump system is equipped with a primary pump, secondary pump in case of primary failure, and a battery back up in case of power outages. An IceGuard was also installed, which provides an exit for water should the discharge line ever freeze or clog.
