The crawl space of Karen H.’s Saint Louis, MO home leaked water every time there was a heavy downpour. The amount of water that repeatedly got into the crawlspace made it unusable for storage so Karen called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a crawl space encapsulation system.

The SmartSump was installed as part of the encapsulation system. The SmartSump was designed specifically to form an airtight seal with the vapor barrier. It contains a powerful cast-iron pump to remove intruding water out of the crawl space through its discharge line. Its lid also features a WaterWatch alarm system to alert the homeowners to possible plumbing leaks in the crawl space.

Dan A. of St. Louis, Missouri had a leaky basement, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, David G. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Christopher B. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump uses a primary pump, secondary pump, and a battery=powered backup pump to protect your home. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier made of inorganic materials and is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. The WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it takes the collected water and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home. 

Now Dan A. has a dry, safe basement. 

A homeowner wanted the crawlspace encapsulated, so a CleanSpace Liner was installed. This system completely isolates the crawlspace from the earth. This dramatically reduces the air's humidity level, eliminating mold growth and rot from the crawlspace and making the whole house healthier. The bright white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allows one to easily see that the crawlspace is free of mold, insects, and dirt.
