Five Brothers Company of Fairmount City, Illinois had cracks in their walls which led to water leaking in, so they decided to call Woods basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Joshua H. recommended installing the TripleSafe sump pump, CleanSpace, and WaterGuard.

Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to keep any home or business dry with its three-in-one design. it comes with a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump for triple protection. CleanSpace is used to collect water that seeps into a basement to guide it to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard then takes that water and transfers it to the sump pump where it can be removed from the building.

The support blocks in a crawlspace in East Saint Louis, IL were failing, as they were shifting and becoming unstable. The liner was also not keeping the moisture out of the crawlspace, creating a damp and musty environment. To solve these issues, the SmartJack System was first installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers in the crawlspace. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It also controls water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and floors of the basement. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that is secured in place over the foundation walls and dirt floors in the crawl space. It prevents moisture from entering the crawlspace and guides it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. CleanSpace is mold resistant and gives the crawl space a cleaner and brighter appearance.
