This homeowner suffered from the floor of their home sloping in one direction. They decided to call Woods to get a free estimate to assess the situation. We discovered that the home was likely suffering from a lack of foundational support from the crawlspace below the area of the home that was sloped.

As your home ages the floors can become uneven as the foundation settles. This is especially apparent in areas where a crawlspace sits below. We provided this home owner with the installation of our smart jack system. Which elevates the floors back to their original position and reduces floor bounce. 

This Waggoner, Illinois home was in the process of being renovated and had very badly damaged and weak floor joists. These joists needed to be addressed before anything, so the property owner gave Woods Basement Systems a call. A Woods team installed several Smart Jacks, each capable of supporting 60,000 pounds, underneath the floor joists to lift and support them.

These walls are responsible for supporting all the ground against them, and these homeowners were smart to find a solution to prevent the wall from falling. Our Geo-Lock™ Wall Anchors are metal plates fixated to the wall, with metal rods extending 12+ feet in the ground and then anchored, which prevents wall movement from the ground shifting.
