JC was concerned about the walls bowing in the basement. So, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Gregory B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jeremy R Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System, shown above, in JC’s basement. The device has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other will attach to the basement walls, shown above. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten out the walls.

This homeowner was alarmed to see his baement walls bending inwards into his home. Design Specialist Greg B. from Woods Basement Systems inspected the damaged wall and recommended the ideal solution for the issue at hand.

Foreman Jeremy R. and his team installed Geo-Lock wall anchors to brace the compromised wall. Geo-Lock uses a galvanized steel rod and heavy-duty steel plate to reinforce and potentially straighten foundation walls under strain. 

Gregory and Corrine H. of Rantoul, Illinois had found signs of foundation settlement around their home. The walls on their basement were cracked, cracks were forming near windows and doors and on the ceiling. Concerned and unsure what to do, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Woods is not only a waterproofing expert, but they repair foundation problems, seal crawlspaces, etc.

We sent our foreman Lucas Bockhorn and his team out to the home to install our patented PowerBrace system. The PowerBrace system is designed to permanently stabilize your home’s foundation. It supports basement walls and allows for straightening over time. Now that the PowerBrace system was installed, the homeowners were stable and supported.

Support blocks were failing in a crawlspace in Rantoul, IL, so the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the beams and floor joists in the crawlspace and lift the floor above it back toward its original elevation. Floor bounce caused by weakened joists or excessive spans will also be reduced.

When bricks on the exterior or interior of your home shift creating cracks, this signals that foundation settlement is present. A permanent solution to this issue is by installing push piers into the footing of the foundation. Push piers lift and lock the foundation back into place to safely restore a troubled foundation.
