This Brooks, Maine home was under contract to sell but a home inspection revealed the foundation had a bowing wall, and the basement needed a sump pump. To repair the foundation wall, we installed StableLock Wall, which is a new concrete wall poured next to the failing wall. We add extra supports to keep the home safe and stable, while also preventing the original wall from continuing to bow or shift. Additionally, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump to manage the groundwater, pumping it away from the home to keep the basement dry. The TripleSafe has two Zoeller pumps and a third battery backup pump, so it will operate in all conditions!

These homeowners in Thomaston, ME were ready to upgrade their basement and crawlspace into a more pleasant space. After normal movement and pressure against the foundation walls, they've experienced some water leaking in and damaging the walls and floors. The crawl space became difficult to walk through, and the moisture made the air quality very poor.

A SmartSump pump system was installed to collect and drain any water that enters the space. IceGuard allows the water to flow from the sump pump out through the discharge line without freezing. We received a call for help from Rockland, Maine homeowners who were tired of their old sump pump kicking off and not keeping up with the incoming water. We upgraded their system to our TripleSafe sump pump, the top of the line sump system. An office building with a finished basement was flooded in Rockport, Maine, damaging the drywall. The building was built on ledge and was not waterproofed to prevent groundwater from entering the space. We installed WaterGuard interior perimeter drainage to collect water seeping in at the cove joint. WaterGuard connects to their sump pump to then pump the water away from the home. We cut out the damaged drywall and installed EverLast Wall restoration. EverLast Wall panels are a rigid panel system that is made of inorganic material so it is waterproof and mold resistant. We install metal studs behind it, which will not rot or grow mold.

This homeowner living in Camden, ME owned an old basement with a stone foundation. Water had been entering the basement and pooling up on the floor for some time and the homeowner wanted to have something done about it. After calling us at TC Hafford Basement Systems, our crew was able to completely waterproof their basement. A fresh slab of concrete was poured to replace the old slab, with WaterGuard piping buried just beneath the surface of the new floor. The WaterGuard pipes capture any leaking moisture and guide it out of the home through the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump. Finally, to seal any leaks that might enter through the walls and to brighten up the space, a CleanSpace wall system was utilized to cover the walls of the basement.
