In order to fully stabilize the damaged foundation wall, our production crew installed 4 Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the basement wall. The anchor rods were drilled deep into the soil outside of the home and wall plates installed on each end of the rod to secure the anchor. Then, they tightened the anchor to start the process of straightening the wall. Angel is happy she chose to permanently stabilize her home!

A homeowner from Austin, MN, was in the middle of a remodel when he yanked out a section of drywall and uncovered his basement wall was cracking in several locations. He took to the internet to search for 'foundation crack repair company near me' and quickly found American Waterworks. He was impressed with the other work we had done in his area and signed up for his FREE estimate.
Several weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady S, headed out to the home to conduct his inspection. Once he completed his walkthrough, he met with the homeowner. He informed them that foundation walls are designed to withstand loads from the top, not from the side. So when the side pressure on a wall exceeds what is can withstand, it's not uncommon for homeowners to observe cracking, bowing, sliding in at the bottom, and/or tilting inward at the top of the wall. Brady quickly followed up, explaining that the issue was serious, but American Waterworks had a fix. Brady recommended our PowerBrace wall repair system, explaining that our PowerBraces are an adjustable steel I-beam system with two important benefits: stabilizing bowed or tilting walls and (over time) forcing bowed or tilting wall sections back to their original position. The homeowner was thrilled by the solution and signed on the spot.
A month later, our Foreman, Jorge M, and his crew were headed out to the home. When they had finished, they had effortlessly installed 7 PowerBrace's on the problem wall. Now, our customer can continue with his remodel knowing that the bones underneath are stable and sound!

A homeowner in Austin, MN, knew it was time to repair their bowing foundation wall. Knowing they needed an expert's opinion, the homeowner began looking into "bowing foundation repair near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Impressed with our previous projects, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Ryan, to the home to take a closer look at the foundation. Ryan promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the basement. During the inspection, Ryan confirmed the walls were suffering from bowing. To prevent this issue from worsening, Ryan recommended installing GeoLock Wall Anchors along the struggling wall. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Ryan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Diego, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Diego and his crew successfully secured five GeoLocks along the south wall. GeoLock Wall Anchors are a wall anchor system designed to secure and stabilize cracked walls. Once all the GeoLocks were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowners were delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. American Waterworks is happy to provide its homeowners peace of mind knowing their foundation is secured.
A customer from Wayzata, MN got in contact with us when she began to notice the retaining wall in front of her garage was beginning to tilt inwards. Our customer feared that if she left the problem unresolved she risked the possibility of the wall failing completely and costing more to fix. When she contacted us we set her up with our FREE estimate, entitling her to a thorough inspection by a member of our Design Specialists team. Once the appointment was set, our Design Specialist, Shane, headed out to her home to inspect the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he was ready to make his professional opinion about correcting the issue. He told our customer that her best bet to battle the failing wall would be allowing us to install our GeoLock anchors.
