This Forrest County home had a serious problem with standing water staying underneath their home. It was causing severe moisture issues in the wood, leading to mold and potentially rot. Our Design Specialist, Melissa Johnson, was able to curate a custom plan to get this home encapsulated, dry, and healthy. Adam's crew installed our proven system to complete this project. This crawlspace in Hattiesburg was holding water and having some mold issues. The homeowner called many different companies to come out and give them quotes and ended up choosing our team to take on their project! Rick Killingsworth designed their custom proposal and solution, and Mike Lawler led a team to complete the job. We cleaned out the crawlspace to start, sealed up the outside vents to prevent air from bringing in moisture, installed a sump pump, and completely waterproofed the crawlspace. 

This home in Mississippi's Hub City was having moisture build up under the house causing the floors to buckle inside. We treat the inside of the crawlspace like the inside of a house and totally seal it off from the outside. This will eliminate outside air from getting in and carrying moisture droplets. We also put a sump pump in the ground to capture all the water seeping in from the ground underneath. Our pump will automatically collect the excess water and discard it out and away from the crawlspace. We also place a dehumidifier in the crawlspace that will clean and dehumidify the air, making sure it doesn't get musty. This completes our encapsulation system and will keep the crawlspace dry for years to come!

It is hard to believe these two images were taken inside the same crawlspace! Not only is this crawlspace now much more visually appealing and easier to get around, it is also much more protected from moisture and the other outdoor elements that try to use it as an entrance into the home. 

This home's crawlspace was filled with moisture, causing the oak floors to buckle. This was a father calling our company and trusting us to complete the work on his daughter's home. 

We encapsulated the space and made it so the crawlspace would dry out in hopes of the floors settling back down. Either way, this won't happen again with our system in place and will maintain a clean environment from here on out.
