Basement Waterproofing in New Augusta, Mississippi
This home in New Augusta called us about their leaky basement. We installed our Basement Systems' WaterGuard® system where we install a perimeter drain around the basement that drains into the sump pump. Complete with a dehumidifier and our BrightWall® waterproofing wall liner that leads the moisture into the WaterGuard system. Then, our pump automatically removes the water from the basement and transfers it away from the house.

This was a unique project. This is the crawlspace of a home in Meridian, MS. Half of the crawlspace was formed into a basement for storage. The basement in this home use to have vents. A few years back an addition was added on to her porch and the conceret covered the vent. This was causing the basement to stay damp, and over time mold began to grow. The home owners daughter reached out to us, concerned with this affecting her mothers health.

This vented crawlspace was experiencing humidity problems, causing the floors to swell. There was also a musty smell lingering after water would get inside. Our crew closed off all the vents, preventing outside air from carrying in moisture, and sealed off the rest of the area to keep any future water problems from arising permanently.

This home in Jackson was experiencing severe foundation problems. The floors were falling from lack of support in the crawlspace. You can see in the photos how far it was sagging and pulling away from the walls. We were able to remedy the issues with our Smart Jacks and Supplemental Beams in the areas that were falling.
