In this Vicksburg, MS project, signs of mold near the homeowner's indoor floors indicated a moisture problem in their crawl space. Our team at Midsouth Crawlspace Solutions efficiently tackled the issue, as depicted in the before photo. We installed CleanSpace drainage matting, providing a durable barrier optimized for moisture control. Our strategically placed SaniDry Sedona reduced humidity and mold risk. Additionally, the robust TripleSafe sump pump system ensured comprehensive water management, as visible in the after photo. With this installation, we transformed the crawl space into a healthier, drier environment.

Henry Bennett was called to look at this home in Vicksburg, Mississippi. They had insulation stuffed right up under the floor joists. Large amounts were already falling due to holding moisture. While intentions are good with crawlspace insulation, it's never a good idea. Having something so close to wood that is able to hold moisture will inevitably, hold moisture. As we all know know moisture + wood = rot. 

When we install a job, we always remove this troublesome insulation. Not only does our system keep the crawlspace dry and free of high humidity, but completely sealing off the crawlspace will in turn, insulate it. We have a testimonial from a customer who checked his crawlspace during the ice storm, and the temp reading from under the house was as close as 3-5º similar the house temperature. Amazing, right?

Here is a photo of the state of this homeowner's crawlspace when our design specialist, Corey, first did his initial inspection and estimate. Its your typical messy crawlspace with a moist ground floor. This moisture was playing a large part in the sinking floor problem the homeowner reached out to us about. In the second image, you can see the crawlspace after Corey designed a system for the home and one of our talented production crews made it a reality. The mess is gone, and more importantly, the moisture will no longer be a problem. The white CleanSpace liner you see all throughout the crawlspace is acting as a barrier,  keeping out ground water seepage. Unseen in the images, is our energy efficient crawlspace dehumidifier and our perimeter drainage system. Both working alongside the CleanSpace vapor barrier to stop moisture, water, and humidity from affecting this home.
