Additionally, rusted support columns were replaced with the SmartJack® system, restoring proper support to the floor joists and helping to correct floor settlement and sagging. The completed project transformed the basement into a safer, more stable environment while providing the homeowner with confidence that the foundation and support system are protected for years to come.

This commercial property in Lawrence, Massachusetts was experiencing some settlement on the warehouse floor. The owner would like to have the settled part of the warehouse floor lifted back to level. They decided to call EFS for an inspection.

A crew from EFS installed 4 SmartJacks and 12' of Supplemental beam. They fixed the SmartJacks to the Supplemental beam which is supporting the rafters. The crew pours concrete over the footing of the SmartJacks to lock them into place.
