A property management group was managing a building in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The building had experienced sagging floors and some minor foundation wall cracking. The management group and the tenants decided to contact EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended removing all of the brick pillars in the basement and replacing them with SmartJacks. 

A homeowner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently had their daughter move back into their home. When she moved back in she was putting some things in the basement and noticed some deterioration of the brick and mortar in the basement. She pointed it out to her parents and they decided to call EFS for a free inspection. Our Design Specialist recommended installing SmartJacks with a Supplemental beam to add support to the floor system of the home. 

Moving into a new home in Cambridge, MA, a homeowner was greeted with the unwelcome surprise of sunken floors. Thankfully, we were able to step in and provide a solution. Initially called in for SmartJacks to level the floors, we noticed the challenge didn't stop there. The high water table was seeping through, threatening the home's foundation. As you can see in the before photo, the condition was worrying. However, our solution, installing a WaterGuard perimeter and a TripleSafe Sump Pump, signified a transformation. Notice in the after photo, the once damp, unsure basement is now safely fortified against water's intrusion, ensuring a dry, stable foundation for years. Our aim was not just to address the immediate concern but to safeguard the home's future, offering peace of mind and a sound structure.

Marshall W. of Somerville, Massachusetts, was experiencing crumbling of his brick foundation. Marshall had been getting more and more worried about the home's structural integrity. He called Erickson Foundation Solution to see if someone could come out and inspect his home. EFS sent Design Specialist John Prince came out to the home and inspected the foundation to see what EFS could do to strengthen it. John proposed that we will replace the crumbling brick with cinder blocks. 

Crew Lead and head Mason Nick Carelli and his team came to the home and rebuilt the brick portion of the foundation to strengthen the foundation. Marshall was relieved that they were able to add stability to the foundation that wasn't in the best shape.
