Overall I am extremely satisfied with all of the work done on my home by Quality 1st Basement Systems. I initially heard about Quality 1st on Angie's List and was impressed with their reviews. I researched other companies and received quotes but in the end chose Quality 1st because they had more options available for my home improvement project. When I called the office staff answered all of my questions and scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. My inspector Kenny was thorough and polite. I had a wet unfinished basement and he helped me transform the entire space to make it livable. I now have a waterproofed finished basement that I can use everyday. The installation crew led by Juan Garcia did excellent work and completed the entire project in just 2 days.

Last August, I purchased my first house whose crawlspace was the epitome of one of Quality 1st's "before" photos, i.e., rotting insulation, bugs, rusted pipes, trash, rat carcasses, animal nests, sagging joists, etc.  I knew I had to be discerning and take swift action and I could not proceed with any of my visions for my house above unless it sat on a sound foundation first.  In doing so, I found your company and its long, reassuring list of affiliations, awards and recommendations.  Though I was pleased with such a find-it seemed too good to be true.  That said, I remained realistic with my expectations. My second thoughts were immediately allayed upon the conclusion of my estimate meeting with Ken Peare.  Was I dreaming?  Certainly not.  I found him to be thorough, honest, knowledgeable, communicative and extremely responsive with a reassuring attention to detail.  From start to finish [and beyond], Ken represented Quality 1st Basement Systems as a company unlike any other I've experienced before...leadership, integrity, responsibility, innovation are not empty words or the hype of advertisement, but truth embodied by both he and the subsequent crew that completed the work in my crawlspace.  Quality 1st should be proud to have such a System Design Specialist that exemplifies the tenets of your organization on a daily basis. First things first. Mike Fiorillo was an excellent sales rep to work with. Knowledgeable, mindful, professional, and personal at the same time. He went over all the options in detail, did not try to push or upsell on any products. Even gave some tips on the best way to finance the project. TJ showed up with his team on time, as agreed, explained, and showed me everything they will be working on. It was a big project, so it took 3 days to complete, however, each day the team showed up on time, worked very cleanly and efficiently. Everything looks great.  I also want to mention Angie Almonte from their customer service, who was very friendly and professional when she followed up after the project was completed. Highly recommend! A++
