From dark and dirty to bright and clean! Frank's Basement Systems transformed Dan's crawlspace, which was struggling with water and insulation issues, by installing several patented products, including our SilverGlo and TerraBlock Insulation, as well as our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier.

James was on the lookout for some better insulation to help his moist crawl space get into better shape for storage. Frank’s Basement Systems helped by installing SilverGlo Wall Insulation with its radiant heat barrier, which keeps any crawl space at a consistent temperature year-round! Plus, it will help prevent moisture seepage, keeping James’s items stored in the crawl space nice and dry!

At Frank's Basement Systems, we specialize in crawl space problems of all types. And this crawl space was no exception! Paul reached out to us here at Frank’s Basement Systems when he discovered that certain spots on his floor in his Canandaigua home were getting damp and felt as though they might be slightly sagging in places, too. Below the areas having issues was a crawlspace that was getting water and snow in it throughout the winter. To address the structural problems, we installed several SmartJack® Crawl Space Stabilizers. They are galvanized steel piers that are cut to size to fit the space and won’t rust or deteriorate over time. These posts rest on a precast concrete pad that will then have a threaded post cap installed at the top and secured to the joists above. After the SmartJacks are installed all through the crawlspace to support the floors above, the Team moved on to begin the encapsulation process. They used the full CleanSpace® system to waterproof the crawl space. The entire space is wrapped in CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier. This thick and durable, white plastic liner, which resembles a pool liner, will prevent moisture from entering the crawlspace and keep our debris and pests as well. To keep the space dry and to pump out the water collected in the space, a SmartSump™ Crawl Space Sump Pump was installed. This lid also has a built-in area that you can use to connect a dehumidifier hose. This is perfect because the last thing the Team did was install a SaniDry™ Sedona Dehumidifier. 

When water started seeping into Kim's crawl space, turning it into a humid, wet space, she reached out to Frank's Basement Systems for help! The whole crawl space had the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier installed to help stop water vapors from the soil and the crawl space wall from seeping in, allowing Kim's crawl space to be nice and dry once again!
