A homeowner in Pikeville, NC, reached out to our office seeking help with outdoor waterproofing. Their property was struggling with water pooling around the foundation, causing potential damage. We installed a French drain around the exterior of their home, which collects and redirects water away from the foundation. To complete the system, we added a discharge line that carried the water far from the home, ending with a LawnScape outlet for proper drainage. This solution effectively resolved the water issues, protecting the home and ensuring a drier, safer property.

As a result of high moisture levels in this crawl space, the floor above is uneven and the fireplace is sloping. Installing SmartJack Support Posts in the crawl space was the most effective way to stabilize and lift the floor to a level position. 

We installed a high-performance sump pump, our CleanSpace vapor barrier system, and a crawl space dehumidifier to repair this flooded crawl space problem. These measures together will help keep the crawl space dry, clean, and healthy for years to come.

Moisture in this customers crawl space led to the floor joists to rot and become completely unstable. Our team removed the damaged floor, sistered the weakened joists with new lumber and installed a new subfloor to ensure the floor is safe, stable, and level.
