This customer in Chapel Hill, NC had the crawl space of their home encapsulated with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. During the encapsulation process, Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair crew lead by Ronald replaced the crawl space door with a PVC Custom Door. The PVC Custom Door is made in house to the correct measurement of the entrance. By having a custom door installed Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair can ensure that the entrance of the crawl space can stay dry. One of the benefits of a PVC door is that even over time the PVC will not degrade and rot like a wood door would.

Berry contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned with moisture issues that had started to cause mold at his Chapel Hill, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Larry E. met with Berry to go over the crawl space of his home to find the best solution for his issues. Larry found that even though the crawl space had a vapor barrier installed it still allowed moisture to enter by not being sealed around the foundation walls and around the piers of the crawl space. The best solution would be to remove the old vapor barrier and replace it with a full encapsulation of the crawl space. By installing the encapsulation with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair can reduce the moisture by completely sealing the crawl space from entering, along with installing the Sedona dehumidifier and Sump Pump System. 

Alice contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after noticing that the crawl space was damp, but wasn't sure if there was any mold or wood rot at the time.

We scheduled for one of our design specialist, Derek  to go out and do an inspection of the crawl space. After speaking with Alice showing her the condition of her crawl space, Derek proposed mold remediation and to encapsulate to help the homeowner keep the moisture and mold out of the crawl space.

Our crew led by Kevin, first they started off by removing the old insulation that was soaked with moisture and then treated for the mold . Next, they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels transferring the insulation barrier to the outer parts of the crawl space. Next, they installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Liner along with a Sedona Dehumidifier and a Smart Sump to help keep the crawl space free of moisture.
