We installed SilverGlo Thermal Insulation on the crawl space walls to improve energy efficiency and maintain a consistent temperature, while the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was added to control humidity levels and prevent moisture-related issues like mold and mildew.

A Wilmington, NC homeowner needed their crawl space cleaned and encapsulated. We installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier, a durable, 20-mil thick material designed to block moisture and prevent mold, mildew, and pests. Arlene of Wilmington, NC called Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because she was concerned that she could possibly have water and mold under her home. Being an older women, Arlene was unable to crawl under the home to check out the crawl space, so Southeast did it for her.

Our home inspector checked out the home and noticed that Arlene had a high moisture content along with starting signs of mold starting to grow in the space. Southeast's crew led by Ricky Warren did a full encapsulation on the crawl space using our 10 mil liner and drainage matting since the home was on the coast and prone to a high water content in the area. SilverGlo was also included in the overall installation, along with a SaniDry CX Dehumidifier and a Sump Pump to pump out any moisture in the crawl space. Now Arlene is happy to know that her crawl space is a healthy part of her home!
