Over time he had noticed that the floors were not level and the doors would stick. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Maurice met with John to go over the crawl space and to find the best solution for his issues. Andrew contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned with moisture at his Wilmington, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Brannon met with Andrew to go over the crawl space to find the best solution for his issues. Brannon found that at some point the water level in the crawl space was about 6 inches deep that had caused the crawl space to flood. With the crawl space flooded it had caused issues of moisture getting into the insulation and the wood causing mold and mildew. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. By installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System along with a Sump Pump System and a dehumidifier we are able to lower the humidity in the crawl space to under 55% which mold and mildew cannot thrive. There was a high level of moisture in this crawl space, and it was seeping into the upper levels of the customer's home. The problem was solved by installing CleanSpace vapor barrier, SilverGlo crawl space insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
