This Oxford basement had an old sump pump, an inefficient dehumidifier, and a moldy stone foundation. We replaced the sump pump with a SuperSump, upgraded the dehumidifier to a SaniDry Sedona, added drainage matting across the floor, and encapsulated the walls and floor with CleanSpace, transforming the space into a clean, dry, and healthy basement.

Hydrostatic pressure was putting an incredible amount of strain on this basement in Florence, KY. Just one cubic foot of water weighs about 60 pounds, which means thousands of pounds of force can be pushing inward against your foundation at any given time. That was the case for this basement in Florence, KY, where built-up groundwater around the foundation led to cracks, leaks, and bowing walls.
