This Pleasant Hill, OH basement had water seeping through the old stone foundation walls, leaving them damp and musty after each rain. To solve the problem, our team installed WaterGuard along the perimeter, later sealed beneath a smooth concrete finish, and covered the leaky stone walls with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to block out moisture. We also added a sump pump system (not pictured) to ensure the basement stays dry year-round. The space now looks cleaner, brighter, and fully protected from future leaks.
After encapsulating and insulating this crawl space, we installed the cherry on top, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This dehumidifier was invented by our Basement Systems team and is an exclusive product to our network, meaning you can only get this through us in our service area. Since being invented, it has been tested and tweaked over many years to have some of the best specs for a dehumidifier that does not have a clunky heat exchange core.
Qualities and specs for this patented dehumidifier:
This poured foundation wall in this Vanceburg, KY basement was leaking due to hydrostatic pressure building up outside the wall. We repaired the crack using our FlexiSpan system. First, we cleaned and prepped the crack, chipping out any loose material if necessary. Next, we applied a flexible sealant directly into the crack to form the primary seal. Then, we placed a strip of flexible, open-cell foam over the sealant, followed by an impermeable membrane to permanently seal the repair. The bottom of this system is directed into the drainage system below the floor, ensuring that any future seepage is captured and drained away instead of entering the basement. We then added our BrightWall crack cover over the stained wall. The result was a clean, dry basement wall that the homeowner could confidently finish again.
This front porch along with the rest of the driveway and sidewalk had sunken into the ground. The homeowner did not want this beautiful concrete to crack from sinking too far, so we set out to fix it. We injected the driveway, front porch step, and the sidewalk with PolyLevel foam. Using a calculated amount, we were able to raise everything back to where it was original set.
This customer was interested in insulation and mold control. After we waterproofed the basement, we began to insulate by spraying foam on the band boards and installing Foamax insulation wall panels. The wall panels will help guide water to the system and they will never grow mold due to their inorganic nature.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
