Before & After Photos

We installed slab piers for this home in Winchester, Ohio, in order to level out the sunken flooring. You can note the gap between the floor and the baseboard in the before picture, and how the gap closed in the after picture. We use slab piers in order to permanently stabilize the slab by connecting the slab to load bearing-soil found deep below the house. We can then raise the piers in order to raise the slab back to where it was when it was originally poured. We then fill the voids left from raising the slab with our expansive PolyLevel foam. The result is a floor that won't ever settle again for this slab foundation home.

Many homes in the Hillsboro, OH area have been affected by drought conditions, which can cause the soil beneath foundations to shrink and settle. At this home, the back porch had begun to sink as soil erosion and drought-related shrinkage left inadequate support beneath the structure. To permanently stabilize the porch and help prevent further settlement, we installed foundation piers to underpin and support the foundation. We would later conceal the piers with a soil backfill process shortly after capturing the "after" photo seen attached to this project. 

The owner of this home in Greenfield, OH, gave us a call to fix their basement which had, "two block walls being pushed in by built up groundwater outside of the basement." To repair the basement, we installed a full waterproofing system that wrapped around the entire perimeter, and we installed a wall bracing system along the two structurally damaged walls. This before and after photo set reveals a small portion of the scope of the entire repair work, but the after photo does contain the two main components of the full system: The two steel PowerBraces that run vertically up the wall will stop the wall from shifting inwards and the WaterGuard subfloor drainage system, (concealed underneath the newly floated concrete) will drain water to the unpictured sump pump, eliminating the high water table around the home as well as leaks.

We visited a home in North Bend, Ohio, overlooking Aston Oaks Golf Course, where the homeowners noticed their 3.5-year-old concrete driveway starting to sink by more than an inch. When the home addition was built, the builder had to run sewer lines and utilities under the new section of driveway, and that soil has since begun to settle. To restore the surface, we used our PolyLevel system to lift the sunken slabs back to their proper height and stabilize the underlying soil. Once the driveway was level again, we sealed the joints and cracks with NexusPro to protect against future water intrusion and shifting. The finished result looks clean and even, giving this beautiful North Bend property a safe, smooth driveway that complements its view of the Aston Oaks Golf Course.

In Cleves, OH, a homeowner had a sunken interior slab beneath their kitchen floor. The tiles had dropped just enough to leave a visible gap between the baseboard and the floor, making the room look unfinished and uneven. We injected PolyLevel foam directly through the grout lines between the tiles, gently raising the slab back into position. This closed the gap at the baseboard and restored a level, polished look to the kitchen floor. The process was minimally invasive, with no damage to the tile, and the entire project was completed in just a couple of hours.
