This homes crawl space was a mess. It had been overlooked for far too long, and had falling fiberglass, rotting wood that was stored down here and a general mess from other contractors doing work through the crawl space. To get it back into shape, and keep the space healthy, John's Waterproofing was called upon for a full encapsulation. 

It can be easy to overlook the crawl space. It is out of sight, out of mind. But it is a very important space to your homes overall health and the health of your family. This homeowner knew that their crawl space had not been looked at in years, and knew they were long overdue. So they called up John's Waterproofing and scheduled to have a professional out to inspect it. We did a full inspection and than went over the game plan to make this space healthy again. 

We cleared the space out and installed a full encapsulation system. This allows us to seal the space off from exterior factors and control the space. To address ground water we install a drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump. Each vent is sealed shut and we insulate using TerraBlock along the dirt floor and Spray foam along the foundation walls. CleanSpace is a 20 Mil vapor barrier that is installed to ensure the area is sealed against moisture and deters critters. And than to deal with excess moisture in the air we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier. 

As this home began the remodeling process the crawlspace needed to be addressed. The old debris was removed and a full encapsulation was installed. 

This homes crawl space had accumulated a lot of dust and pieces of old fiberglass over the years. To protect the homes crawl space against water issues, the homeowners were looking to get a full encapsulation. We installed a drain system, sump pump, TerraBlock insulation, a CleanSpace vapor barrier, and Spray Foam along the walls. This space is now ready to remain dry, stable, and healthy over the years.
